Spring on the farm brings forth a number of natural wonders. The most flavorful of these is the wild leek, also called ramps. Each spring we trek into the woods to dig as many as we can. I use them in place of onions and garlic in many of my favorite recipes, and even freeze some for use later in the year. Despite the rewards, the digging is dirty work, and leaves your hands more than a little smelly. For jobs like this, I like to use my Lemongrass Foaming Hand Soap. Made with organic oils, it cleanses hands without drying, and the bright lemony scent dispels strong odors (the dreaded leek reek).
